Monica M. Seibert, age 87, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 11:58 P.M. on Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice near Defiance, Ohio, where she was a patient. Mrs. Seibert was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Edgerton, Ohio, where she was a lector and cantor for many years, Rosary Altar Society and the Farm Bureau. She was active at Fountain Park Inn and Villas, where she enjoyed her Bible study group, and loved playing the piano and singing for the residents. Monica M. Seibert was born on June 29, 1925, in Paulding County, Ohio, the daughter of Joseph and Bertha (Sponseler) Peiffer. She married Michael J. Seibert on May 4, 1948, in Junction, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on February 28, 1993. Survivors include two sons, Gary (Marsha) Seibert, of Sherwood, Ohio, and Daniel Seibert, of Defiance; six daughters, Ann (Bob) Hindley, of Billings, Montana, Janet (Mike) Plunkett, of Columbus, Ohio, Pat Stonger, of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, Lisa Hendricks, of Waterville, Ohio, Ellen (Bill) Wolfrum, of Edgerton, and Sheila (Mark) Patton, of Bowling Green, Ohio; twenty-two grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Louis Peiffer, in Michigan; and one sister, Bernadette Thomasson, in Alabama. She was also preceded in death by one grandson, Scott Wolfrum, three brothers and one sister. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton. Recitation of the rosary will be at 7:30 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home on Wednesday. Services will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2013, at 10:30 A.M. in St. Mary Catholic Church with Father David Cirata officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Edgerton. Memorials are requested to Community Health Professionals Hospice or to St. Mary School.
