Violet Edna Kinkaid, age 93, of Archbold, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2020, at Fairlawn Haven. She attended Lockport Mennonite Church. She worked as an assembler at Cable & Wire prior to her retirement. Violet was born on April 2, 1927, in Swanton, Ohio, the daughter of Howard and Blanche (Hobbs) Jewell. Violet is survived by her son, Jeffrey (Cynthia) Kinkaid, of Archbold; grandchildren, Stacy (Kendall) Lehman, of West Unity, Ohio, Melissa Kinkaid, of Charlottesville, Virginia, and Stephanie (Tony) Stuart, of Swanton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Glen, Lester, Stanley, Robert and John Jewell; and infant sister, Eilene Jewell. Funeral services for Violet will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at 11:00 A.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, with Pastor Steve Heatwole officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Violet will be laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Grand Rapids. Due to the ongoing pandemic restrictions, the family will receive friends while observing social distancing precautions. The family requests visitors use masks in accordance with State mandates.
