Rudy Gonzales

Rudy Gonzales, age 69, of West Unity, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice near Defiance following a lengthy illness. Rudy was a member of the Bryan Eagles and Montpelier Moose Lodge. He enjoyed metal detecting and was an avid Notre Dame Football fan. Rudy was born on February 17, 1953 in Crystal City, Texas, the son of Andres and Olivia (Delgado) Gonzales. He was a graduate of Pettisville High School. Rudy is survived by his daughter, Faith (Bryan) Oetting, of Butler, Indiana; son, Stephen (Joy Dockery) Gonzales, of Punta Gorda, Florida; granddaughter, Katrina Gonzales, of Holland, Ohio; his longtime companion, Chris Miller, of West Unity; brothers, Arthur (Frances) Gonzales and Andy (Joanne) Gonzales, both of Lansing, Michigan and sisters, Gloria (Larry) Ice, of Stryker and Maria (John) Chavira and Rosa Parr, both of Lansing. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Richard and Jesse Gonzales and sisters, Carmen Banda and Viola Beck. A celebration of Rudy’s life will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 1:00 - 4:00 P.M. at the Bryan Eagles Aerie #2233, 221 South Walnut Street, Bryan, Ohio. Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan has been entrusted with his services.
