Robin Sue Chappuis, age 64 of Stryker, Ohio went to be with her Savior on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice near Defiance. Robin was a woman of many different hats. She worked as a licensed cosmetologist, bus driver and was the director of Loving Words Daycare in Bryan. She was a member of the House of Prayer and sang in the Sweet Adeline’s for many years. Robin enjoyed cooking, baking, canning, reading, music and cross stitch. Her greatest joy was her family and time spent with them. Robin was born on May 15, 1958 in Montpelier, Ohio, the daughter of Edwin F. and Bonnie E. (Bair) Welden. She was a 1976 graduate of Edon High School and Four County Vocational School. She married Michael J. Chappuis on October 18, 1980 in Edon and he survives. Robin is also survived by her children, Tiffany Chappuis, of Bryan, Jared (Hannah) Chappuis, of Montpelier, Kirsten (Seth) Miller, of Knox, Indiana and Evan Chappuis, of Liberty Center; 5 grandchildren; sisters, Kelly (Ron) Chappuis, of Evansport, Elaine Welden and Wendy Welden, both of Fort Wayne and her mother, Bonnie Welden, of Bryan. She was preceded in death by her father, Edwin Welden. Visitation for Robin will be held 3:00-6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Funeral services will be held immediately following the visitation with Pastor Craig Bard officiating. Private interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery, Stryker. A celebration of Robin’s life will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at the House of Prayer.
