Richard A. Dietrich

Richard A. Dietrich, age 86, of Williams Center, Ohio, passed away Monday, February 25, 2019 at Martin Memorial Hospital in Stuart while vacationing in Florida. Richard worked at the Aro Corporation for over 50 years and was a US Army veteran of the Korean war. Richard was a 1951 graduate of Kunkle High School and was a 4-H leader with his wife. Richard enjoyed bass fishing and woodworking. He helped set up many of the Christmas decorations used around the square in Bryan. Richard A. Dietrich was born on August 1, 1932 in Cooney, Ohio, the son of Ralph and Wilma (McCrea) Dietrich. He married Phyllis E. Hake in Edon on February 6, 1955 and she preceded him in death on December 16, 2010. Richard is survived by his daughter, Rhonda (Forest Tinney) Dietrich, of Palm City, Florida; sons, Randy (Gayle) Dietrich, of Defiance and Roy Dietrich, of Williams Center; grandsons, Tony Dietrich, of Columbus and Drew Dietrich, of Defiance; brothers, Fred (Mary) Dietrich, of Columbus and John (Delores) Dietrich, of Bryan and sister, Darlene (Neil) Seufert, of South Bend, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and a brother, Ronald (Grace) Dietrich. A celebration of Richard’s life will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Memorial donations are requested to the charity of the donor’s choice.
