Regina Ann (Muehlfeld) Sparks, age 71, of Edon, Ohio, passed away at 11:31 P.M. on Saturday, September 16, 2023, in her home after a brief illness. Regina had been employed at Mohawk Tools for a number of years and later at Fleetwood Industries. She then did missionary work for a number of years before retiring back to the area. She was devoted to her Catholic faith and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Blakeslee, Ohio.
Regina Ann Sparks was born on January 5, 1952, in Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of Herbert and Mary (Wilhelm) Muehlfeld.
Survivors include a daughter, Dawn Gineman, of Edon; two sons, Christopher Sparks, of Stryker, Ohio, and Dennis Sparks, of Gaylord, Michigan; six grandchildren, Hunter Hodapp, Christopher Sparks, Jr., Ana Gineman, Ava Gineman, Aiden Sparks, and Melody Gineman; one great-granddaughter, Malayna Sparks; her siblings, John Muehlfeld, of Bryan, Ohio, Bernard Muehlfeld, of Ocala, Florida, Madonna (Roger) Geiselman, of Bryan, Edmund (Diana) Muehlfeld, of Churubusco, Indiana, and Allan (Corrine) Muehlfeld, of Mt. Prospect, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, with recitation of the rosary at 7:30 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. in St. Joseph Catholic Church with Reverend Daniel Borgelt officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials are requested to the Mass fund for funerals.
