She was born in Detroit, MI on February 2, 1929, to Walter and Mathilda “Tillie” (Grabianowski) Piontkowski. She was an active member of her parishes in Ypsilanti, MI, both St. John the Baptist and St. Ursula; Our Lady of Fatima in Michigan Center, MI; and St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bryan, OH. She liked going to festivals: such as the Buzzard festival, the Spam festival, Tomato and Popcorn festivals and was a diehard Detroit Tigers fan. She was able to meet Puxatawney Phil for Groundhog Day, on her birthday. Pat was an avid bowler. She participated in numerous national amateur tournaments, often placing in the top ranks with her team members.

She is survived by her only sister, Shirley Berry in Texas; her children: Dan (Lisa) Kubiske, Dave (Irma) Kubiske, Mary Pat (Jeff) Meyers, Annette (Bruce Stevens) Kubiske, Doug (Meredith Wallace) Kubiske, and Kathleen (Gene) Allen; her fourteen grandchildren: Jessica (Kevin) , Philip (Kristynen), Adam (Amber), Michelle (Maria), Maureen (Scott), Jake (Lizzie), Devan (Luke), Danika, Lauren, Josh (Leah), Ashley (Joshua), Matthew (Allison), Andrew and Megan; and her five great grandchildren: Penelope, Athena, Selene, Mira, and Ronan. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter-in-law, Diane, and granddaughter, Danielle. She resided at Fountain Park Assisted Living and Memory Care Bryan OH where she met her close companion of 3 years, Karl Brace.
