Pamela J. Lake, age 70, passed away peacefully at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan on Thursday, January 23, 2025, with her husband at her side. Pam was a travel agent and owned Escapade Travel in Edgerton. Pam loved to travel and bowl, had been a member of the Bryan Women’s Bowling Association and traveled locally and nationally to bowl in tournaments. She was an avid reader and loved time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
Born on September 6, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri, Pam was the daughter, of Elmer and Dorothy (Hill) Vickers. She graduated from Maplewood High School in 1972, She married Lawrence J. Lake on August 19. 1978 and he survives.
Pam is also survived by her son, John “Dean” (Natalie) Warner, of Mehlville, Missouri; grandchildren, Izzy, Jack and Colin and sisters, Carol Sue Smith, of Peculiar, Missouri and Joy Lynn Ewing, of Cottleville, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services celebrating Pam’s life will be held later in Missouri. Krill Funeral Service, 114 East Hull Street, Edgerton, Ohio has been entrusted with her arrangements.
Memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
