Norma Jean Kendrick, age 77, of Bryan, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Norma was a cafeteria worker for Bryan City Schools for many years before she retired. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was active in WMU/LMC with the church. Norma enjoyed traveling, taking many bus trips and cruises with her husband and spending time with her family.
Norma was born on November 14, 1945, at home in Greasy Creek, Pike County, Kentucky, the daughter of Floyd and Mary Jane (Charles) Coleman. She married Floyd Kendrick on July 23, 1970 and he survives.
Norma is also survived by her sons, Aaron (Melissa) Kendrick and Nathan (Nicole) Kendrick, both of Bryan; grandchildren, Ella, Courtney, Nash, Jason and Sarah and a sister, Etta (Billie) Sanders. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charles and Elster Coleman and sister, Kelcie White
Visitation for Norma will be held at Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. on Monday, July 24, 2023. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor John MacFarlane officiating. Burial will follow in Shiffler Cemetery.
Memorials are requested to First Baptist Church.
