Joyce M. Nelson

Joyce M. Nelson, age 74, of Cecil, Ohio, passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. She was a chef and cook her entire working career. She worked in fine restaurants and family restaurants preparing gourmet meals and comfort food. Joyce also enjoyed playing bingo and fishing. Joyce was born January 16, 1948, in Dickinson County, Virginia, the daughter of James E. and Opal L. (Cable) Fleming. She married Hubert E. Nelson and preceded her in death. Joyce is survived by her sisters, Irene, Margaret, Patty, Lovetta and Rose; brothers, Phillip, Donnie, Raymond and Ralph and sister-in-law, Judy Nelson. She was preceded in death by her son, Mitchel E. Nelson; husband, Hubert E. Nelson; parents and brothers, Teddy, Harold and Shelton. There will be no services held at this time for Joyce. Arrangements have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio. Suggested memorial donations are to her family to help with expenses.
