Jane S. Perry, age 60, of Edgerton, Ohio, passed away at 1:50 A.M. on Saturday, May 11, 2019, in her home, surrounded by her family after an illness of one year. Mrs. Perry was a 1977 graduate of Edgerton High School, where she was salutatorian, and graduated from Defiance College in 1981 with a degree in accounting. A Certified Public Account, she had previously been employed by Bryan Custom Plastics for fifteen years, Pullman Industries in Butler, Indiana, Alex Products in Ridgeville Corners, Ohio, and most recently by G & M Media Packaging in Bryan for the last five years. She was baptized at Lake James Christian Assembly in 1969 and was a member of Bryan First Church of Christ, where she was active teaching Sunday school, working with the children’s ministry and attending Bible study group. She was a member of the Ohio Society of CPAs and enjoyed camping, traveling, going out to eat and spending time with family and friends. Jane S. Perry was born on May 6, 1959, in Hicksville, Ohio, the daughter of John P. and Nancy R. (Blair) Altman. She married Hugh J. Perry on October 9, 1982, in Edgerton and he survives. Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Adam Perry, and a daughter, Stacey Perry, both of Edgerton; her father, John (Nora) Altman, of Bryan; and three sisters, Cindy Perry and Diane Altman, both of Bryan, and Linda (Jay) Leppelmeier, of McComb, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Altman. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. and Thursday, May 16, from 2:00-8:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 114 East Hull Street, Edgerton. Services will be held on Friday, May 17, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. at Life Changing Church, Edgerton, with Pastor Larry Snavely officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton. Memorials are requested to Bryan First Church of Christ, Edgerton Area Foundation or Lake James Christian Assembly.
