Henry Jozeph Kotula left this earth surrounded by family and went home to be with his creator on February 5, 2020. He valiantly battled kidney cancer over four years. His family would like to thank the research oncology team of Dr. Alexander Starodub and all the caring medical staff at Goshen Cancer Center and the doctors and staff at Parkview Cancer Institute and Dr. Jeff Kachman. Their compassion and encouragement made this journey easier to bear. Henry Jozeph Kotula was born October 6, 1954, in Perth, West Australia. He was born first generation Australian to Longin and Antonina (Tluczek) Kotula. He is survived by his mother, Antonina, and his siblings, Richard Kotula, John Kotula (Karen), Marysia Golos (Peter), and Mark Kotula (Therese). He is also survived by his wife Terri (Grundish) Kotula, and his children, Jade Bentley (Tom) and Aaron Kotula (Chloe). He leaves behind three beautiful granddaughters, Courtney, Lara, and Asha. He was preceded in death by his father, Longin, and his father-in-law, Robert Grundish. Henry spent his career (over 25 years) traveling the world implementing crop protection methods to assist farmers and growers in using less pesticides. He will be missed greatly by his wife, his family and his friends. A memorial service is being planned at a later date.
