Frank S. Juhasz, age 91, of Edon, Ohio, passed away on Thursday November 14, 2024, at his home following a sudden illness. Frank was a life long farmer. He began farming in his early teens walking behind a team of horses and a one bottom plow. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Blakeslee Knights of Columbus Council #3883. He received an honorary State FFA degree and honorary Chapter FFA degree.
Frank S. Juhasz was born on August 12, 1933, in Garrett, Indiana, the son of Michael and Mary (Szeman) Juhasz. Frank was a 1951 graduate of Edon High School. He married Barbara R. Fenker in Fort Wayne, Indiana on April 15, 1972 and she survives.
Frank is also survived by his sons, Steve Juhasz, of Bryan and John (Cheryl) Juhasz, of Edon and granddaughters, Danielle, Abigail, Josephine and Francine. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 4:00-7:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 204 West Indiana Street, Edon with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Edgerton, Ohio with Rev. Daniel Borgelt officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Blakeslee.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to St. Mary Catholic School.
