Florence G. Baron

Florence G. Baron, age 91, of Hicksville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, June 20,  2023, at Laurels of Defiance in Defiance, Ohio. She was a devoted homemaker and raised four children.  Florence attended the Family Christian Center in Defiance, enjoyed knitting and watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren play sports.  She had a gregarious personality and was actively involved in the Senior Center, loved playing Bingo, going and experiencing other places, watching the hummingbirds at her home and especially enjoyed her Friday night supper club outings with family and friends.  Most of all she enjoyed her time spent with family. 

Florence was born on November 26, 1931, in Buffalo, New York, the daughter of George and Gertrude (Tarapacka) Romey.  She married Eugene Anthony Baron on May 17, 1952, in Buffalo, New York and he preceded her in death on January 22, 1998. 

Florence is survived by her four children, Elaine (B.J.) Armstrong, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Wayne (Doris) Baron, of Huron, Ohio, Debbie (Robert) Radcliff of Hicksville, and Gary (Peggy)  Baron, of Lorain, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren   She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother, Ronald Romey.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 25, 2023, from 2:00-4:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan.  Funeral services will follow at 4:00 P.M. with Pastor Shawn Vandemark officiating.

Memorial are requested to the American Cancer Society or to Heartland Hospice.
