Dr. Mark D. Lirot

Dr. Mark D. Lirot, DC, age 66, of Edon, passed away at his home on Thursday, September 14, 2023 following an extended illness. Dr. Lirot was a Chiropractor who had a practice in Coldwater, Michigan for many years and more recently practiced in Edon.  He was a graduate of Edon High School , Hillsdale College and the Cleveland Chiropractic College.  Dr. Lirot was a member of the Michigan Association of Chiropractors, a Fellow of the International Association of Clinical Acupuncturists and was also a certified nutritionist.  He also enjoyed farming in his spare time.

Mark was born September 5, 1957, in Angola, Indiana, the son of Herald A. and Ruth K. (Jerger) Lirot.  He married Deborah Sue (Knapp) McLatcher in Savannah, Georgia on May 3, 2011 and she survives.

Dr. Lirot is also survived by his children, Erin (Donald) Needham, of Pioneer and Kurtis (Christen) McLatcher, of Coldwater, Michigan; granddaughters, Aryanna Needham, and Evelynn McLatcher; sister, Dr. Kathie (Stephen) White, DC; brothers, Joel (Patricia) Lirot, of Rye, Colorado and Kit (Linda) Lirot, of Kalamazoo, Michigan and many nieces and nephews.

Private burial will take place at Edon Cemetery.  His arrangements have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 204 West Indiana Street, Edon.
