Douglas Lynn Streeter

Douglas Lynn Streeter, age 29, of Bryan, Ohio, was recently identified through DNA technology by the State of Florida after a forty-seven year long cold case file search for his identity following his April 26, 1976, disappearance and murder investigation in Florida. Mr. Streeter had attended Bryan High School. Douglas Lynn Streeter was born on September 7, 1946, in Bryan, the son of Richard and Mary (Mavis) Streeter. Surviving are his half sister, Linda Whitney, of Edgerton, Ohio and half brother, Steve Reader, of Bryan. He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Barbara Streeter. Since his disappearance both of his parents and a brother, Ed Streeter, have passed away. A grave side service will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. in Farmer Cemetery, Farmer, Ohio, with Pastor Rick Stiver officiating.
