Diane E. Root

Diane E. Root, age 71, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers-Bryan. Diane had worked at Allied Moulded for many years and was a member of New Life Worship Center. She enjoyed camping, reading and working crossword puzzles. Diane was born September 8, 1951 in Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of Howard L. and Sarabelle (Ridenour) Gambler. She was a graduate of Fairview High School. Diane married Thomas R. Root on July 13, 1985 in Bryan and he preceded her in death on November 4, 2019. Diane is survived by her brothers, Larry (Ashley) Gambler, Lonny (Corinna) Gambler and Terry (Amanda) Gambler, all of Defiance and Randy (Marlene) Gambler, of Elk Horn City, Kentucky and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three angel babies, brothers, Kelly and Michael Gambler and sisters, Penny Gambler and Wendy Smith. Arrangements have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Diane will be laid to rest at Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan with her husband.
