David L. Gunder, age 74, of Edgerton, Ohio, passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, May 12, 2020. Mr. Gunder was a veteran of the United States Army and worked as an electrician prior to retirement. He was an accomplished carpenter who could build almost anything. David L. Gunder was born on February 22, 1946, in Portage, Ohio, the son of James A. and Constance A. (Ferguson) Gunder. He married Kathleen L. Karosa on April 27, 1966, in New Boston, Michigan, and she survives. Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Richard (Pamela) Karosa, of Findlay, Ohio, and David C. Gunder, of Butler, Indiana; one daughter, Michelle Sobie, of Vinton, Virginia; ten grandchildren; two sisters, Beverly Chamberlain, of Yuma, Arizona, and Debra (Ron) McCauley, of Edgerton; and one brother, James Arthur (Sandy) Gunder, of Findlay, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Louann Papineau and Carol Kennedy. There will be no public visitation or services at this time. A private family celebration of life will take place at a later date. Krill Funeral Service, 114 East Hull Street, Edgerton, has been entrusted with arrangements.
