Barbara J. Gotshall

Barbara Jean Gotshall, age 89, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020, at the Inn at Fountain Park in Bryan. Barbara had worked at Bard Manufacturing as a secretary and retired from the Sears store in Bryan. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoyed sewing and bowling and loved spending time with her cats. Barbara was born on August 28, 1931, in Montpelier, Ohio, the daughter of Lyle and Geneva (Arnold) Mann. She married Raymond A. Gotshall on September 1, 1950, in West Unity, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on April 6, 2008. Barbara is survived by one son, Mark A. Gotshall, of Bryan; three grandchildren, Ryan (Melanie) Gotshall, in North Carolina, Heath (Sheala) Gotshall and Kelly (Brice Ferris) Gotshall, both of Bryan; six great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Chase, Lila, Callum, Cameron, and Ava; and a cousin, Carol Eschhofen, of Bryan. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a son, Randy Gotshall. Due to the pandemic restrictions, a private funeral service will be followed by burial at Shiffler Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Memorials are requested to the Williams County Humane Society.
