Aurora “A.J.” Johnson, age 29, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018. A.J. was a graduate of Bryan High School and had been attending Northwest State Community College preparing to enter their nursing program. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. A.J. was a loving mother who enjoyed spending time with her children, writing, poetry, and cooking. Aurora was born on August 28, 1988, in Bryan, Ohio the daughter of Thomas and Nola A. (Castillo) Johnson. She is survived by her son, Jayden McCavitt, of Farmer; daughters, Issabella and Aurie Winter, both of Bryan; mother, Nola (Ray Suydam) Johnson, of Bryan; father, Thomas (Robin) Johnson, of Toledo; sister, Lindsey Johnson, of Cleveland; paternal grandfather, Robert Johnson, of Toledo and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rene & Aurora Castillo, Sr. and Joan Talmadge; uncle, Rene Castillo, Jr and aunt, Aide Castillo. A celebration of A.J.’s life will be held in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, from 4:00–6:00 P.M. on Monday, April 23, 2018. Memorials are requested to the family for an educational fund her children.
