Arnetta E. Hancock

Arnetta Ellen Hancock, age 99, of Bryan, Ohio passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at the Inn at Fountain Park following a lengthy illness. Arnetta had worked at Ohio Art for many years as an assembler and also worked at the grocery in Brunersburg. She was a member of the Sherwood United Methodist Church and enjoyed crocheting. Arnetta was born on June 1, 1923, in Bryan, the daughter of Arthur C. and Audra S. (Moon) Stantz. She married Burnell “Bud” Hancock in Archbold in 1939 and he preceded her in death in 1987. Arnetta is survived by her son, G. Keith Hancock, of Bryan; daughter, Deanna Ankney, of Sherwood; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter-in-law, Alice Hancock; a brother; a sister and close companion, Ernie Spangler. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 P.M. on Monday, April 3, 2022 at Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at the funeral home with Pastor Nate Petrosky officiating. Burial will follow at Evansport Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to the Sherwood United Methodist Church.
