Arlene Kay (Seeley) Boyer, age 81, of Montpelier, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Park View Nursing Center in Edgerton. Arlene was an active member of the Nettle Lake United Brethren Church. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and working in her yard.

Arlene and her twin sister were born on November 18, 1942, the first twins born at the new Hillsdale Hospital and the daughters of Leslie “Sam” and Mabel (Robinson) Seeley. She married Walter L. Boyer in Columbia, Ohio on August 5, 1972 and he preceded her in death just a few weeks prior, on October 9, 2024.

Arlene is survived by her son, Dennis L. (Amy) Boyer, of Montpelier; grandchildren, Kaylie Brown, Taylor (Dakota) Pitts, Dakota Shaffer and Joseph (Ahlia) Boyer; a great granddaughter, Ezlyn Fox with another on the way; brother Larry (Carol) Seeley, of Fremont, IN and her twin sister, Charlene Gambler, of Bryan. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and son, Dale Boyer.

A celebration of Arlene’s life will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 11:00am-2:00pm at the Northwest Township Building (Old Cooney School). Krill Funeral Service, 204 West Indiana Street, Edon has been entrusted with her arrangements. 

Memorials are requested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
