Alma R. Troyer, age 80, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away at 10:45 A.M. on Thursday, February 11, 2021, at Northern Lakes Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Angola, Indiana, after a brief illness. A lifelong resident of Fort Wayne, she enjoyed working with children and volunteered at numerous preschools in the Fort Wayne area. Alma also enjoyed square dancing. Alma R. Troyer was born on November 10, 1940, in Swickly, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Earnest and Amy (Cutler) Artman Grimm. Survivors include one daughter, Christina (Jerry) Krontz, of Butler, Indiana; three sons, Michael, Timothy, and Ronald Hessert, all of Fort Wayne; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Susan Snead, of Medford, Oregon. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Jack and Daniel Artman. Services celebrating the life of Alma R. Troyer will be held in Fort Wayne at a later date. Service arrangements have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service 114 East Hull Street, Edgerton, Ohio.
