View Video Tribute Velma L. Bigger, age 67, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 9:35 p.m. on Friday, March 9, 2007, in her home after an extended illness. She retired from Air Way Manufacturing in Edgerton, Ohio, with over ten years of service. Velma L. Bigger was born on February 5, 1940, in Edgerton, Ohio, the daughter of Walter C. and Goldie (Young) Goebel. She married Clarence O. “Jim” Bigger on June 14, 1958, in Edgerton, Ohio, and he survives. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Bigger is survived by three daughters, Christina (Terry) Terrill, of Hicksville, Ohio, Sandra (Keith) Thompson and Dawn (Leslie) Thompson, both of Edgerton, Ohio, one son, Clarence O. (Connie) Bigger, Jr., of Edgerton,Ohio, eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and three sisters, Marilyn Juarez, of Edgerton, Ohio, Laura Belle (Max) Ish, of Hicksville, Ohio, and Rozella (Dale) Gerber, of Fort, Wayne, Indiana. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Kimberly, in 1969 and one brother, Robert Goebel. Visitation for Velma L. Bigger will be on Tuesday, March 13, 2007, from 4-8 p.m. in the Krill Funeral in Edgerton, Ohio. Grave side services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 14, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Edgerton, Ohio, with Pastor Byron Adams officiating. Memorials in the name of Velma L. Bigger may be given to the American Heart Association.
