Jeanette E. R. Kline, age 84, of Montpelier, Ohio, died on Thursday, April 17, 2008, in her home. Mrs. Kline was a licensed practical nurse, having worked in care of the elderly at Evergreen Manor, Hillside Country Living, Harborside Healthcare of Northwest Ohio, and Van Crest Nursing Center. She was a member of Melbern United Methodist Church and was an avid fisherman and enjoyed camping. Jeanette E. R. Kline was born on April 9, 1924, in Defiance County, Ohio, the daughter of Herman and Mae (Harmon) Retcher. She married Ray E. Kline on July 6, 1942, in Butler, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on September 14, 2007. Mrs. Kline is survived by five daughters, Susan (Bill) Schwab, of Holgate, Darlene (Gary) Ordway, of Clearwater, Florida, Diane (Lester) Kruse, of Paulding, Peggy (Frank) Lantz, of Montpelier, and Deborah (David) Hoffman, of McClure, one son, Timothy (Rosalind) Kline, of Montpelier, 22 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Violet Rettig, of Leesburg, Florida. Preceding her in death were her parents and three grandchildren. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.on Sunday, April 20. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 21, in the funeral home with Pastor Diane Schaffner officiating. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton, Ohio. Memorials in the name of Jeanette Kline may be given to Cancer Assistance of Williams County or to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers, Hospice Care.
