View Video Tribute Rita R. Arnold, age 70, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 5:05 p.m. on Friday, March 16, 2007, surrounded by family in her home after an extended illness. Mrs. Arnold was employed by Ringer’s Drug Store in Bryan, Ohio, as a retail clerk and buyer, retiring in 1989 with over twenty years of service. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Edgerton and the Rosary Altar Society. Rita R. Arnold was born in Fostoria, Ohio, the daughter of Lloyd and Zora (Martin) Logsdon. She married Douglas Arnold on December 26, 1980, in Bryan, Ohio, and he survives. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Arnold is survived by one son, Carl Shultz (Peggy MacMacken), of Tucson, Arizona, two daughters, Tami Shultz, of Findlay, Ohio, and Rene Shultz (Robert Maake), of Tucson, Arizona, three stepsons, Mike (Teri) Arnold, of Charlotte, Michigan, Jeff (Brenda) Arnold, of Bryan, Ohio, and Doug (Peggy) Arnold, of Enid, Oklahoma. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, one sister, Mary (John) Tornow, of Port Clinton, Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews.. She was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters. Rita will be greatly missed, but her strong will and loving spirit will be with us in our hearts forever. She’s now at peace after a long unselfish journey in order to give us more precious memories. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home in Edgerton, Ohio, from 5-9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21, 2007, with a prayer service at 8:30 p.m. A Mass will be Thursday, March 22, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Edgerton with Father Stephen Schroeder officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Edgerton with a luncheon to follow at St. Mary’s Church basement. Memorials in the name of Rita R. Arnold may be given to the Bryan Community Hospital Hospice program or the Cancer Assistance Center.
