Opal M. Badman, age 81, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, May 4, 2007, at Park View Nursing Center in Edgerton, Ohio, where she was a resident. Mrs. Badman was formerly employed at Edgerton Metal Products and Fleetwood Industries in Edgerton, Ohio, and Lakeland Nursing Center in Angola prior to her retirement. Opal M. Badman was born on January 31, 1926, in Huntertown, Indiana, the daughter of Jacob and Vicia (Camp) Keesler. She married Denver L. Badman on February 22, 1948, in Edgerton, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on March 19, 1998. Mrs. Badman is survived by one son, Scott (Michelle) Badman, of Edgerton, Ohio, four daughters, Pauline (Dallas) Thimlar, of Huntertown, Indiana, Kathy (Max Hoffer) Lawton, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Alberta Badman and Donna Distel, both of Bryan, Ohio, eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one sister, Virginia Miller, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, two brothers, Glen Dale Keesler, of St. Joe, Indiana, and Norman Keesler, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Wayne Badman, in 1959, one granddaughter, Lacy Nicole Badman, a son-in-law, Gerald Distel, and a brother, Jacob Keesler. Services for Opal M. Badman will be on Tuesday, May 8, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio, with Pastor Bryon Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Edgerton, Ohio. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, May 7, 2007. Memorials in the name of Opal M. Badman may be given to the American Diabetes Association or to Williams County Home Health Care.
