Sheri Lynn Huffman

View Video Tribute Sheri Lynn Huffman, age 37, of Columbus, Ohio, and formerly of Bryan, died at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, March 2, 2007, at The Ohio State University Medical Center, where she was a patient. She was a 1988 graduate of Bryan High School, a 1993 graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education, and a 1995 graduate of The Ohio State University with a Master of Arts Degree. She was employed by The Ohio State University as a disability counselor from 1995-2001. Sheri Lynn Huffman was born on October 17, 1969, in Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of Michael K. and Susan K. (Sanford) Huffman. Sheri is survived by her parents, Mike and Sue Huffman, of Bryan, Ohio, one sister, Stephanie (Pete) Tesner, of Columbus, Ohio, one brother, Steven (Candy) Huffman, of Hicksville, Ohio, and her grandmother, Winonah Sanford, of Stryker, Ohio. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, including Nancy (Sanford) and Randy Nofzinger and their children, Tyson, Tiffany and Shauna, and Mike and Paula Sanford. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Willabell Huffman, Herbert Sanford and her Seeing Eye-Guide Dog and Beloved Companion, Pearl. A memorial service for Sheri Lynn Huffman will be held on Saturday, March 10, at 1:30 p.m. at the First Church of Christ in Bryan, Ohio, with her cousin, Pastor Tyson Nofzinger officiating.  The family will receive visitors at the church prior to the service, beginning at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of floral arrangements, memorials are requested to be directed to those organizations that have provided Sheri with endless support and service throughout her life.
