Marie B. Schott, age 95, of rural Edgerton, Ohio, died at 1:15 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2005, at the Golden Years Homestead in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she was a resident. Ms. Schott was a 1927 graduate of Edgerton High School and attended International Business College in Fort Wayne for two years and graduated from Fairview Nursing School in Cleveland in 1948 as a registered nurse. She was employed by Hicksville Community Memorial Hospital and Wauseon Hospital and then by the Veteran Administration Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, from 1956-1981 until her retirement. She was a member of the Edgerton Emanuel Methodist Church. Marie B. Schott was born December 11, 1909, in Milford Township near Edgerton, Ohio, the daughter of Edward and Laura (McKee) Schott. She is survived by one nephew, Randall Schott, of Toledo, Ohio, two nieces, Norma Schott, of Portland, Oregon, and Donna (Ron) Ehinger, of Monroeville, Indiana, and three great- nieces and one great-nephew. She was preceded in death by one sister, Mabel C. Schott, and one brother, Carmen L. Schott. Services for Marie B. Schott will be Saturday, May 21, at 2:00 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio, with Reverend Maurice Bonecutter officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Edgerton, Ohio. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service begining at 12:00 p.m. Memorials in the name of Marie B. Schott may be given to Emanuel United Methodist Church.
