Dona L. Kepler

View Video Tribute Dona L. Kepler, 71 years, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 3:35 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2005, at Harborside Healthcare of Northwest Ohio, Bryan.  Dona was a member of the Melbern United Methodist Church and the Bryan American Legion Post #284 Ladies Auxiliary.  In her younger years, she was a Den Leader for the Cub Scouts. Dona L. Kepler was born on November 19, 1933, in Orange County, Indiana, the daughter of Foster and Blanche (Snow) Abel.  She married William W. Kepler on May 13, 1951, in Farmer, Ohio, and he survives. In addition to her husband, Dona is survived by her six children, Karen S. “Susie” (Charles J.) Hill of Bryan, Walter L. (Mary R.) Kepler of Bryan, Richard M. “Mike” (June F.) Kepler of Aurora, Colorado, Linda L. (Steve A.) Warner of Bryan, Steve W. (Debra D.) Kepler of Bryan and Marge A. (Jon) Cooley, also of Bryan, 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Carolyn (Charles) Phillips of Mitchell, Indiana, Jean (Vonnie) Buffington of Indianapolis, Indiana, Shirley (Don) Wyman of Shoals, Indiana, Sue White of Tampa, Florida, and Pat Abel of Mitchell, Indiana.  She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Robert Abel. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2005, in the Melbern United Methodist Church with Pastor Diane Schaffner officiating.  The family will receive friends after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Memorials in the name of Dona L. Kepler may be given to Melbern United Methodist Church or Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers -Hospice Care. Arrangements by Krill Funeral Service, Bryan, Ohio.
