Mary Ella Rowe, age 102, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 8:50 p.m. Saturday, January 8, 2005, at Park View Nursing Center in Edgerton, where she was a resident. Mrs. Rowe was a member of the Edgerton United Methodist Church, the Mary Martha Circle, and was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She and her husband, Reverend Floyd Rowe, served many churches during his ministry in the United Methodist Church West Ohio Conference. Mary Ella Rowe was born October 15, 1902, in Illinois, the daughter of Lewis Franklin and Estella (Reynolds) Spelbring. She married Floyd Rowe on February 12, 1920, near Cavett, Ohio, and he preceded her in death in 1962. Mrs. Rowe is survived by two daughters, Myrtle (John) Lutterbein, of Edgerton, Ohio, Mary Lois (and partner Bruno Crele) Costa, of Sparta, Tennessee, one son, Frank (Beverly) Rowe, of Columbus, Ohio, eight grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one grandson, John Rowe, four brothers and three sisters. Services for Mary Ella Rowe will be Wednesday, January 12, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio, with Pastor Ned Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert, Ohio, with graveside services at 2:30 p.m. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 11.
