Bob Dunkle, age 84, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 11:10 a.m. on Friday, April 20, 2007, shortly after admittance to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers, Bryan, Ohio. Mr. Dunkle was a retired mechanic, having worked for John Deere Tractor & Equipment in Edgerton, Ohio, for twenty years. He had also been employed in the maintenance department of Spangler Candy Co. and was self-employed by doing engine repair at home. He was a member of the Edgerton Church of Christ. Bob Dunkle was born on April 15, 1923, in Butler, Indiana, the son of Bina B. (Walburn) and Coy Dunkle. He married Eleanor L. Dysinger on May 16, 1943, in Paulding, Ohio, and she preceded him in death on July 17, 2000. Mr. Dunkle is survived by two daughters, Ellen (Ron) Walker, of Bryan, Ohio, and Denise Farnham, of Edgerton, Ohio; five grandchildren, Scott (Pam) Hartman and Greg (Traci) Hartman, both of Bryan, Ohio, R. J. Walker, of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Cindy Farnham, of Palmyra, Michigan, and Andy (Natalie) Farnham, of Edgerton, Ohio; nine great-grandchildren, Josh & Jenna Suffel, Dane, Devin & Cayl Poncsak, Case Hartman, Kaleb & Kortney Hartman, and Brett Walker; and one sister, Katherine Ford, of Hamilton, Indiana. In addition to his wife, Mr. Dunkle was preceded in death by his parents, a son-in-law, Robert Farnham, and two brothers, Darrell and Charles Dunkle. Services for Bob Dunkle will be held Monday, April 23, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. in the Krill Funeral Home in Edgerton, Ohio, with D.V. Dillinger, Minister officiating. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home in Edgerton from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, April 22, 2007. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Edgerton, Ohio. Memorials in the name of Bob Dunkle may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
