Harvey G. Cramer, age 85, long-time resident of Edgerton, Ohio, died on Friday, April 20, 2007, at 8:15 p.m in Northern Lakes Health Care Center in Angola, Indiana, where he was resident. Mr. Cramer was a truck driver with Meyers Elevator, The Crystal Company and then with Simpson Industries, retiring in 1983 with 28 years of service. He was a member of the Edgerton United Methodist Church and a former member of the Bryan Moose Lodge. Harvey G. Cramer was born on February 22, 1922, in Stryker, Ohio, the son of Orville J. and Grace (Frank) Cramer. He married Dessie I. Mock on April 16, 1943, in Auburn, Indiana, and she survives. In addition to his wife of sixty-four years, Mr. Cramer is survived by two sons, Larry (Donna) Cramer, of Coldwater, Michigan, and Ronald Cramer, of Edgerton, Ohio, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister, Marie Trausch, of Montpelier, Ohio, and two brothers, Lawrence Cramer, of Toledo, and Ralph (Kathy) Cramer, of West Jefferson, Ohio. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Carol Sue Cramer, on May 4, 1944. Services for Harvey G. Cramer will be on Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. in the Krill Funeral Home in Edgerton, Ohio, with Pastor Tim Gleason officiating. Interment will follow in Butler Cemetery in Butler, Indiana. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home in Edgerton from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24. Memorials in the name of Harvey G. Cramer may be given to the Edgerton United Methodist Church or to Fort Wayne Cancer Support.
