Ruth A. (Hemminger) Rucki, age 70, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 5:48 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2007, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she had been a patient for one week. Mrs. Rucki was a retiree from the Toledo Jeep Plant with seventeen years of service and worked as a bar tender at the Night Cap Inn and Harbor Light Inn in Oregon, Ohio. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Pioneer Church of the Nazarene. Ruth A. (Hemminger) Rucki was born March 30, 1937, in Lou Lou Michigan, the daughter of Thomas and Guila (Deshetler) Burns. Mrs. Rucki is survived by three sons; James (Jean) Hemminger, Jr., of Bryan, Ohio, Gary Hemminger, of Orient, Ohio, Richard “Chip” Hemminger, of Curtis, Ohio, Tim (Barb) Hemminger, of Oregon, Ohio, nineteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, one brother, Ed (Erica) Burns, of Toledo, Ohio, one sister, JoAnn Pickett, of Toledo, Ohio and one step-brother, Jim (Lillian) Jones, in Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and two sisters. Services for Ruth A. (Hemminger) Rucki, will be Saturday, December 8, 2007, at 1:30 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street in Bryan, Ohio with Pastor Wayne Sweely officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Grove Cemetery in Pioneer, Ohio. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service in the Krill Funeral Home in Bryan from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Memorials in the name of Ruth A. (Hemminger) Rucki may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
