View Video Tribute James H. Collins, 69, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 4:18 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2005, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Center, Bryan, Ohio, after a two-year illness. Mr. Collins had been employed by Ohio Art Company, working in the warehouse. James H. Collins was born on March 17, 1936, in Norton, Virginia, the son of Willard A. and Heda L. (Hicks) Collins. He married Avon J. Greear on October 13, 1955, in Wise County, Virginia, and she survives. In addition to his wife, Mr. Collins is survived by three children, Debbie R. (Ed) Burrows, of Bryan, Ohio, Patsy J. Barraco, of Edgerton, Ohio, and Steven D. (Sheila) Collins, of Bryan, Ohio, 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, his mother, Heda L. Collins, of Norton, Virginia, one brother, Willard D. Collins, and one sister, Shirley (Raymond) Roberts, both of Norton, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his father, one daughter, Janet A. Green, one son, James R. Collins, and three sisters, Rosalie Greear, Lola Greear and Ina Blankenbeckler. Funeral services for James H. Collins will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2005, in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, with Pastor Homer Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Collins will be held on Friday, June 24, 2005, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Memorials in the name of James H.
