View Video Tribute Arlene R. Keppeler, age 76, of Edgerton, Ohio, died at 2:25 p.m. on Sunday, January 6, 2008, at Parkview Memorial Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she was a patient. Mrs. Keppeler was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church near Edgerton, Ohio, and was a 1949 graduate of Edgerton High School. Arlene R. Keppeler was born on May 7, 1931, near Edgerton, Ohio, the daughter of Fred W. and Gertrude (Prediger) Kimpel. She married Roy E. Keppeler on May 6, 1951, in Edgerton, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on October 16, 1999. Mrs. Keppeler is survived by two daughters, Susan (Jim) Davis, of Grabill, Indiana, and Colleen (Stan) Cape, of Edgerton, Ohio, two sons, Dennis Keppeler, of Chicago, Illinois, and Randy (Kim) Keppeler, of St. Joseph, Michigan, and seven grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Irvin Kimpel and Walter (Delores) Kimpel, both of Edgerton, Ohio. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Keppeler was preceded in death by two daughters, Debra and Diane Keppeler, in 1974, a brother, Harold Kimpel, and one sister, Alberta Goshia. Services for Arlene R. Keppeler will be on Thursday, January 10, 2008, at 1:30 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio, with Pastor Chris Sigmon officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Edgerton, Ohio. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home in Edgerton from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 9. Memorials in the name of Arlene R. Keppeler may be given to the Park View Nursing Center Activity Fund.
