Alma M. (Erb) Hake, age 92, was born August 14, 1912, in Centralia, Missouri, to Charles and Anna (Oyer) Erb, was married to Orlys V. Hake on November 10, 1932, and departed this life on Tuesday, June 21, 2005, at the Glencroft Care Center in Glendale, Arizona. Mrs. Hake grew up near Edon, Ohio, and was a homemaker there until moving to Fort Wayne, Indiana, in 1963, where she was a switchboard operator at Fort Wayne Bible College. Upon retirement in 1980, she moved to Glencroft Retirement Center in Glendale, Arizona. She was a member of Glencroft Community Church. Mrs. Hake is survived by her two sons, Ronald (and wife, Marjorie Bowles) Hake, of Phoeniz, Arizona, and Dayton (and wife, Shirley Headley) Hake, of Fort Wayne, Indiana; one daughter, Dolores (and husband, Rev. Keith) Sholl, of Sylvania, Ohio; and 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters, Ruth Beale and Naomi Heller, and one great-grandson, Jeremy. Services for Alma M. Hake will be Saturday, July 2, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Christian Union Church, Edon, Ohio, with Rev. Keith Sholl officiating. Burial will follow in Edon Cemetery, Edon, Ohio. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home, Edon, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, July 1. Memorials in the name of Alma M. Hake may be given to the Bethlehem Christian Union Church, Edon, Ohio.
