Arnold G. Armbruster, age 84, of Angola, Indiana, died at 9:35 a.m. on Monday, April 28, 2008, in Lakeland Woods Nursing Center, in Angola, Indiana. Formerly a long-time resident of Northwest Township, Ohio, and a resident of Napoleon, Ohio, from 1993-2007, Mr. Armbruster was a farmer and milk truck driver and was formerly employed by Zeller Corp. Most recently, he had been a greeter for 14 years at Wal*Mart in Napoleon. His memberships included Peace Lutheran Church in Fremont, Indiana. He was active in the Henry County, Ohio, Senior Center, where he delivered meals on wheels. Arnold G. Armbruster was born on August 27, 1923, in Henry County, Ohio, the son of George H. and Lena (Kregel) Armbruster. He married Orianna R. Rohlf on December 16, 1944, in Defiance, Ohio, and she preceded him in death on January 20, 1984. He then married Esther Warner on December 27, 1993, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and she preceded him in death on March 9, 2003. Mr. Armbruster is survived by one son, John (Jo) Armbruster, of Edon, Ohio, and two daughters, Barbara (Phillip) Ellis, of Angola, Indiana, and Lois (Roger) Zeedyk, of Hicksville, Ohio, fifteen grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Lawrence (Polly) Armbruster, of Napoleon, and six stepchildren. In addition to his wives, Mr. Armbruster was preceded in death by his parernts and one great-grandchild. Services for Arnold G. Armbruster will be held on Friday, May 2, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. in the Peace Lutheran Church in Fremont, Indiana, with Pastor Wayne Berkesch officiating. Burial will follow in Edon Cemetery, Edon, Ohio. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home, Edon, after 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, 2008. Memorial contributions in the name of Arnold G.
