Michael H. Kurtz

Michael H. Kurtz, age 60, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 4:14 a.m. on Monday, January 7, 2008, in his home. Mr. Kurtz was a veteran of the United States Army and spent most of his life in Williams County. He was a member of the American Legion, Bryan Eagles Aerie #2233, and the North American Hunting Club. Michael Herman Kurtz was born on May 31, 1947, in Bryan, Ohio, the son of Herman W. and Clara Louise (Skudlark) Kurtz. He is survived by five sisters, Ann (Clyde) Taylor, of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, Betty (Tim) Hebel, of Elba, Alabama, Connie Wilson, of Grand Ledge, Michigan, Sue (Brian) Mills, of Spartansburg, South Carolina, and Teresa (John) Van Dyke, of Newaygo, Michigan, and a brother, Caleb (Etta) Kurtz, of West Unity, Ohio. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Barbara Kurtz, and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother, George, a sister, Debra, in 1977, and a brother, Edward, in 2002. Services for Michael H. Kurtz will be private with Krill Funeral Service at 860 West Mulberry Street in Bryan, Ohio, in charge of arrangements.
