View Video Tribute Weldon “Butch” Glaser, age 72, of Bryan, Ohio, died on Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at Harborside Healthcare of Northwest Ohio in Bryan, where he was a resident. Mr. Glaser attended Fayette High School in Fayette, Ohio, and was the owner of Glaser Diesel Service from 1972-2006. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bryan, and the Bryan Moose Lodge #1064. Weldon “Butch” Glaser was born on January 6, 1936, in Fayette, Ohio, the son of Merle and Catherine (Taylor) Glaser. He married Margaret “Peg” Wiles on October 6, 1956, in Decatur, Michigan, and she survives. In addition to his wife, Mr. Glaser is survived by seven children, Catherine “Kate” (Rick) Hurlbert, of Bryan, Mary (Jim) Morris, of Alexandria, Kentucky, Dennis (Jean) Glaser, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, Bridget (Rhonda) Glaser, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Meg (Phil) LaMantia, Dan (Jody) Glaser, and Susan (Bill) Kidston, all of Bryan, 23 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, a brother, Robert (Lillian) Glaser, in Florida, a sister, Roberta (Bob) Arbuckle, of Elkart, Indiana, one half-brother, Wendell Glaser, and a half-sister, Rita (Jim) Roth, both of Morenci, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services for Weldon “Butch” Glaser will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2008, in St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bryan, with Father Charles Ritter officiating. Private interment will be in Shiffler Cemetery, Bryan. Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, April 4, 2008, in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio, with recitation of the rosary at 8:30 p.m. Memorials in the name of Mr. Glaser may be made to St. Patrick Catholic School or St. Patrick Catholic Church.
