Dora Eileen (Miller) Bunting, age 83, daughter of Gary A. and Bertha A. (Thompson) Miller, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2008, in Edgerton, Williams County, Ohio. She was born in Antwerp, Paulding County, Ohio, on March 16, 1925. She was a homemaker and had been a cook for the Edgerton Local Schools. She was a member of the Edgerton Church of Christ and the American Legion Auxiliary. On February 12, 1944, she married Harold Wendell Bunting in Bryan, Ohio. He preceded her in death on May 6, 1990. Also preceding her in death was her father and mother, three brothers, Gerald L. Miller, Donald R. Miller, and Robert N. Miller, and one sister, Doris A. Guillaume. She is survived by three sons, Harold R. “Bob” and wife, Carole A., Bunting, Jerry L. and wife, Carol A. Bunting, all of Edgerton, and Larry E. and wife, Di Ann, Bunting, of Pioneer, Ohio; four grandchildren, Karen K. Bunting, of Edgerton, Ohio, Dr. Darrin R. (Erin) Bunting, of Huron, Ohio, Taylor L. Bunting and Morgan Bunting, both of Pioneer; three stepgrandchildren, Joey C. Billian and Jackie C. (Mike) Whitman, both of Edgerton, and Jennifer C. (Joe) Cox, of Temperance, Michigan; two great-grandsons, Samuel R. and Leo G. Bunting, both of Huron; four stepgreat-grandchildren, Cloey Whitman and Brenna Whitman, both of Edgerton, and Joshua Cox and Jacob Cox, both of Temperance, Michigan; and one sister, Betty J. Herrington, of Stryker, Ohio. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton, Ohio. There will be no visitation and the funeral service will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
