Edna L. Maugherman

Edna L. Maugherman, age 86, longtime resident of Edon, Ohio, died at 5:25 p.m. on Tuesday, December 25, 2007 at Park View Nursing Center in Edgerton, Ohio where she was resident. Mrs. Maugherman was a homemaker and a member of the Edon United Methodist Church. Edna L. Maugherman was born December 2, 1921 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the daughter of Andrew G. and Goldie E. Edington. She married Ross Maugherman on August 30, 1941 in Reading, Michigan and he preceded her in death in 1977. Mrs. Maugherman is survived by two daughters, Vicki (Richard) Moffett, of Edgerton, Ohio, Pamela (James) Whitman, of Edon, Ohio, two sons, Larry (Patti) Maugherman, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Timothy Maugherman, of London, England, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one brother, William Gepfert, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and one sister, Irene Mertz, of Fayetteville, North Carolina. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Barney Maugherman, and four brothers and sisters. Services for Edna L. Maugherman will be Saturday, December 29, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. in the Edon United Methodist Church with Pastor Eric Dailey officiating. Interment will follow in Edon Cemetery in Edon, Ohio. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home in Edon, Ohio, from 3-8 p.m. on Friday, December 28. Memorials in the name of Edna L. Maugherman may be given to the Park View Nursing Center Activity Fund.
