View Video Tribute Forrest S. Krill, age 95, of Coldwater, Michigan, died Friday, July 1, 2005, in his home after a brief illness. Mr. Krill was born May 15, 1910, in Center Township of Williams County, Ohio, the son of Henry E. and Orpha A.(Thomas) Krill. He was engaged in farming in Bryan until his retirement in 1966. After that he owned and operated Krill’s Kozy Korner at North Lake near Coldwater. In 1977 he returned to Ohio and purchased a laundromat in Edgerton, which he operated for the next nine years. Mr. Krill attended the Nazarene Church in Coldwater. He was a past member of the Knights of Pythias. He married Frances T. Goebel on February 10, 1936. She preceded him in death on November 6, 1985. He then married Shirley Meyer on June 1, 1991 and returned to Coldwater, Michigan. Mr. Krill is survived by his wife Shirley Meyer-Krill, of Coldwater, two sons, Frederick, of Phoenix, Arizona, Dennis, of Waterloo, Indiana, and daughters, Joyce Shaffer, of Bryan, Ohio, Shirley Beal, of Whitehouse, Ohio, Elaine Poorman, of Pottstown, Pennsylvania, and Jeanne Warner, of Bryan, Ohio, fourteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren. One grand-child and two great-grandchildren preceded him in death. Also surviving are a stepson, David M. Meyer, of Sherwood, Michigan, several step-grandchildren, one brother, Henry Krill, of Bryan, Ohio, and one sister, Ruby Newbauer, of New Haven, Indiana. Three brothers and three sisters also preceded him in death. Visitation for Forrest S. Krill will be Wednesday, July 6, 2005, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio. Grave side services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton, Ohio, with Pastor Robert Tharp of Coldwater Nazarene Church officiating. Memorials in the name of Forrest S.
