View Video Tribute Nancy R. Altman, age 74, of Edgerton, Ohio, died Tuesday, June 13, 2006, at 6:40 p.m. in Park View Memorial Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana where she was a patient. Mrs. Altman was employed as a teller at the Edgerton State Bank, First National Bank and the Hicksville Bank for many years and also worked at the Bryan Fabric Center. She was member of the Bryan First Church of Christ where she was active on the Mission committee and was a member of the Senior Saints. She also was a member of the Priscilla Club in Edgerton, served many years on the election board in Edgerton and was a member of the Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers Hospital Auxiliary. Nancy Altman was born July 4, 1931 near Edgerton, Ohio, the daughter of J. Arthur and Devilla C. (Appel) Blair and was baptized on April 26, 1943 at the Edgerton Church of Christ by Pastor Harry Mason. She married John P. Altman on April 15, 1951 in Edgerton, Ohio, and he survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Cindy (Fred) Dick and Diane Altman, both of Bryan, Ohio, Jane (Hugh) Perry, of Edgerton, Ohio and Linda (Jay) Leppelmeier, of McComb, Ohio and seven grandchildren including five granddaughters and two grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Lois Higginbotham in 1991. Services for Nancy R. Altman will be Saturday, June 17, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. in the Bryan First Church of Christ with Pastor Larry Snavely officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Edgerton, Ohio. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, June 16. Memorials in the name of Nancy R. Altman may be given to the Bryan First Church of Christ, the Edgerton Free Store, Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers Auxiliary or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
