Herman C. Fee

Herman C. Fee, age 88, of Orland, Indiana (Wall Lake) and formerly Edgerton, Ohio, died at 7:25 a.m. on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at Northern Lakes Healthcare Center in Angola, Indiana where he was a resident after an extended illness. Mr. Fee was self employed as a truck driver and car hauler and also owned and operated Fee’s Truck Stop near Edgerton, Ohio for seven years. He also worked as a mechanic for Maxton Motors in Butler, Indiana for several years. Herman C. Fee was born November 4, 1919 in Butler, Indiana, the son of Herman A. and Esther Mae (Riser) Fee. He married Goldie I. Deal on December 25, 1938 in Butler, Indiana, and she survives. This year they would have celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary. In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Janet (Charles) Reamsnyder, of West Unity, Ohio, Irene (Larry) Teats, of Montpelier, Ohio, one son, Herman (Marilyn) Fee, Jr., of Montpelier, Ohio, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Bill Fee, of Morenci, Michigan, Brooks Fee, of Edgerton, Ohio and one sister, Gloria Oberlin, of Pinellas, Florida. He was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Bob Fee. Services for Herman C. Fee will be Friday, December 21, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, Ohio with Pastor John Pool officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Edgerton. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the funeral home begining at 12:30 p.m. Memorials in the name of Herman C. Fee may be given to the American Heart Association or to a charity of the donor’s Choice.
