Dateline: Blakeslee, Ohio Anthony J. "Tony" Hug Anthony J. "Tony"Hug, age 52, of Blakeslee, Ohio, died unexpectedly early Thursday, December 23, 2004, in his home. He was a graduate of Edon High School and was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Germany. He was also a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Blakeslee and had coached girls softball in Montpelier. Anthony J. "Tony" Hug was born May 29, 1952, in Montpelier, Ohio, the son of Simon and G. Pauline (Karnes) Hug. He is survived by one daughter, Josie Hug, of Montpelier, Ohio, five brothers, Terry Woodruff, of Des Moines, Iowa, Thomas (Pat) Karnes, of New Haven, Indiana, Joseph (Judy) Hug, of Blakeslee, Ohio, Philip (Susan) Hug, and Jerry A. (Wanda) Hug, both of Bryan, Ohio, one sister, Victoria (Steven) Mays, of Edon, Ohio, his father, Simon "Pete" (Emma) Hug, of Blakeslee, Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother in 1999. Services for Anthony J. "Tony" Hug will be Tuesday, December 28, 2004, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Blakeslee with Father Frederick Duschl officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery with graveside military rites conducted by Edon American Legion Post #662. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home, Edon, Ohio, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday, December 27, with recitation of the rosary at 8:00 p.m. Monday evening. Memorials in the name of Anthony J.
