Eddie J. Brown, age 62, of Montpelier, Ohio, died at 5:10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 11, 2005, at Flower Hospital, Sylvania, Ohio, where he had been a patient for the past seven weeks. Mr. Brown was a straightener operator for Chase Brass and Copper for the past 37 years. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Montpelier Congregation. Eddie J. Brown was born April 16, 1942, in Norvell, Michigan, the son of Forrest and Ida (Miller) Brown. He married Shirley A. Zuber on July 27, 1963, in Pioneer, Ohio, and she survives. In addition to his wife, Mr. Brown is survived by two daughters, Brenda (Rick) Deeds of Bryan, Ohio, Loria (Tom) Spadafore of Chicago, Illinois; three sons, Eddie A. (Cathy) Brown of Remus, Michigan, Denver Brown and his fiancee Laura Kantola of Edon, Ohio, and Douglas (Tina) Brown of Nettle Lake; fourteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; four sisters, Elva (Jim) Guersney, Clara (Jim) Kunesh and Shirley (Ted) Knapp and Wilma (Bob) Michaels; six brothers, Clyde (Darlene) Brown, Walter (Sis) Brown, Ralph (Barb) Brown, Rex (Lil) Brown, Don (Betty) Brown and Forrest (Gertrude) Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Boyd and Richard Brown, and one sister, Ellen Brown. Funeral services for Eddie J. Brown will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2005, in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio, with Elder Tim Henricks officiating. Burial will follow in Osborne Cemetery, Camden, Michigan. Visitation for Mr. Brown will be held on Friday, January 14, 2005, from 1:00-8:00 p.m. and on Saturday January 15, 2005, from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorials in the name of Eddie J. Brown may be given to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Montpelier Congregation, or to the family to assist with medical bills.
