Naomi R. Pipes, age 81, of Bryan, Ohio (Williams Center), died at 3:35 a.m. on Monday, August 11, 2008, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana, after an illness of two months. Mrs. Pipes had owned and operated the Williams Center Carry-out since 1981. She was a member of the Bryan Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #2489 Auxiliary, Women of the Moose Chapter 618 and was a former member of the Bryan Eagles Aerie #2233 Auxiliary. Naomi R. Pipes was born on December 4, 1926, in Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of William and Pearl (Malsch) Moog. She married Richard Gene Pipes on December 28, 1956, in Angola, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on December 14, 1990. Mrs. Pipes is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and her long-time companion, Gary Bojrab. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Pipes was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Henry Moog, and two sisters, Iola Chamberlain and Connie McCullough. Services for Naomi R. Pipes will be on Sunday, August 17, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio. Interment will follow in Williams Center Cemetery. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, Ohio, after 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 16. Memorials in the name of Naomi R. Pipes may be given to the Williams County Humane Society.
