Juanita Calvin, age 80, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 10:52 p.m. on June 14, 2008, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Bryan, Ohio, after an extended illness. Mrs. Calvin was an Assistant Cashier with First National Bank, retiring in 1989 with thirty-five years of service. She was also a member of Bryan Faith United Methodist Church, Bryan Business and Professional Women and formerly Bryan Moose Lodge #1064. She also enjoyed traveling and cooking. Juanita Calvin was born on August 21, 1927, in Fordsville, Kentucky, the daughter of William Arthur and Dora E. (Clark) Crowe. She married Jack Calvin on December 23, 1949, in Bryan, Ohio, and he survives. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Calvin is survived by one son, Timothy M. (Samara) Calvin, of Monroe, Georgia, three granddaughters, Brittany, Addison and Callie Jo Calvin, all of Monroe, Georgia, and one sister, Louise Phillips, of Deland, Florida. She was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Crowe, and two brothers, Arthur Clark Crowe and John Henry Crowe. Services for Juanita Calvin will be on Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio, with Pastor Susan Roads officiating. Interment will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan, Ohio. Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, Ohio, from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17. Memorials in the name of Juanita Calvin may be given to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers - Hospice Care.
