View Video Tribute Cheryl L. Hicks, age 56, of Bryan, Ohio, died at 9:34 a.m. on Monday, April 4, 2005, at the Dilworth Center of Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Montpelier, Ohio, after an extended illness. Cheri was a longtime waitress, best known for being the morning waitress at the Bavarian Inn, Mohre’s and Towne Commons in Bryan, Ohio. She was an avid sports fan and was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Montpelier, Bryan Moose Lodge 1064, Bryan Eagles Aerie 2233, and Bryan AmVets. Cheryl L. Hicks was born May 13, 1948, in Auburn, Indiana, the daughter of Willard and Evelyn June (Miller) Easterday. She married Alvin B. "Boyd" Hicks on June 4, 1988, at George Bible Park near Montpelier, Ohio, and he survives. In addition to her husband, Cheri is survived by one son, Scott Robert Pollick, of Bryan, Ohio, one sister, Judith Runyan, of Bryan, one brother, Tom Easterday, of Fullerton, California, her mother, Evelyn "Rusty" McCarty, of Bryan, and three nieces and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her father. Services for Cheryl L. Hicks will be Friday, April 8, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. in Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, with Reverend Edward Auchard officiating. Burial will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 6, from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday, April 7, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorials in the name of Cheryl L. Hicks may be given to the Dilworth Center of Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers.
